Loctite is a standard fitment to many places where vibration can be a problem on many products - including cars themselves. The problem with this unit is that it had *too much* of it on a screw. This problem has since been addressed (and there was never supposed to be an internal warranty seal, the manufacturers just got creative ;) ). Hugo
