Part of the problem here, is that the buttons I use don't have an autorepeat option. Yes, but does it seem to you like no matter how fast you push the fast forward or rewind buttons it never goes even the slightest amount backward and you never get any farther forward than if you hadn't pressed the button? (it just makes a slight glitch sound)
