I have used USB successfully on V 2.00 since my post, so fairly happy, but to add to your reply Mlord I am using 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2 and no joy.  Are the addresses you suggest better for my set up ?

Love the new interface, so much easier to find files etc.

Looking forward to my first long drive with the rio in the car tomorrow
