Currently it doesn't ever seem to complete the rebuild.Oh-oh. First of all, put 2.0-final on; it fixes some cases of persistent database rebuild failure. If rebuilding databases still crashes or fails to complete even under 2.0-final, then we're looking at using the shell prompt to manually remove whatever is causing the problem. For that reason, it's a good idea to put on 2.0-developer, not consumer. (Being a developer image doesn't affect normal use of the player, it just lets us get you to a shell prompt if things go wrong.)

Bear in mind though that database rebuild takes a long time. Don't assume that it's crashed unless you've waited for it a good fifteen minutes.
