Well, my phillips tivo was upgraded yesterday morning to 2.5, and I lost all connection to it. grrr. Just when I was thinking about what hack I could do to maintain a connection despite upgrading. I had enabled both active and failover partitions but they must have overwritten rc.sysinit. Anyone have any ideas? What goes for inittab? Is there something which runs the upgrade process? An innocuous wrapper?
