Sure you can use Tivoapp with a dtivo!

In it's current version, you have to extract a raw tystream, then use 
jdiner's vsplit10 (or the latest release) to get your .mpv/.mpa files.

Just remember, you have to rename the program your using to get the 
files off the dtivo(mfs_stream, sendstream, etc.) to "ExtractStream" 
for Tivoapp to work.
