I came across the MPEG2VCR program (MPEG1VCR is the demo, actually) and it
seems to be a pretty reasonable tool for editing mpeg streams. Its such a
hassle that you can't edit raw MPEG in premier, but this may do the trick.
IT apparently supports (easy) edits to get rid of commercials, re-encoding,
and a number of other options such as multiplexing, etc.

Has anyone spent much time playing with this program? Any problems with
it? Just curious.
