Stream Extracting Hanging?

I"ve tried just about every method there is for extracting streams off
my tivo.
The one time I was successful was right after a software update. I"ve
never
Been able to get one off since.
The problem I have is that my machine just sits there and hangs at
different
Points in the process (Depending on what software I'm using).

I'm currently trying out sendstream and netcat, and it's sat at 4% for 
About 30 minutes now.

ExtractStream will go about 300 Megs, and then hang.

PlayitSam (trying to use it to just send to a streamserver so that I'd
have a full
Stream) hung after about 100 megs.

Anyone have any ideas for me?
