all, You must be getting sick of me now. I have a stream off the tivo, thanks to warrens playitsam, but whatever I throw it into to convert it seems to fail. TyConvert 'Access Violations'. splitstream has lots of 'Warning: second byte in chunk xxxx is non-zero'. Has anyone else found a conerter that works on the UK's 1.5.2. Tivo streams? Jim
