UK Tivo problems Part 4

All,

I have managed to extract a stream using playitsam (great idea for 
software). Converted it with ConvertStream which I compiled for 
windows which leaves me with a .m2v .m2a

If I use DVD2AVI to look at the mpeg stream then it is almost 
correct, but has random GOBs missing in the MPEG stream. Haven't 
tried the audio yet. Is this something that re-muxing sorts out? or 
should I have a playable video stream at this point?
