Extraction Problems (mpegs with bad pack sizes)

I've been trying to extract mpegs from my TiVo, but I consistantly end
up with unplyable streams. I'm suspecting that I may have a mix match
of old + new software or some other problem. Can someone point me to a
known good respository or confirm my file sizes with theirs?
