I'm finding that it's more reliable than TivoApp, and the build-in
vsplit12 takes one step out of the process (hey, anytime life is easier
AND uses up less space on my PC I'm happy!). BTW, vsplit12 is now
successfully processing some troublesome DD5.1 shows that vsplit11b
couldn't, so big improvement there as well (Yeah, I can complete my Band
of Brother's set!).
On the downside, the product isn't quite as polished as TivoApp from a
GUI standpoint (it doesn't remember preferences yet, and doesn't give
you an ETA or a % complete) but again, remember that this is still an
Alpha, and therefore very early in the development process.
If Jdiner's previous work is any indication of how he'll proceed with
this project, these very minor quirks will disappear very quickly. Big
kudo's to Jdiner for making the Tivo/DTivo Video Extraction process
easier for everyone.

How does alpha #2 do? People in the other forums are reporting
complete success. I am just wondering how people here in this forum
are fairing.
