[Extractstream [MM]] Extracting video from SVD-2000 to DVD creation

Hi all,

How would I go about accomplishing a painless transfer of video from TiVo SVR-2000 unit to computer hard drive and creating of DVD/VCD?

I have heard here and there about Extractstream, but I am totally clueless how it works and how to get it and install.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
