<html><div style='background-color:'><P>After just buying a UK tivo (the thompson one) I added the TivoNet and an extra 40GB Harddisk, decided to play with extractstream. (Software version 2.5.1), I installed tivoweb then extractstream to /hack/bin</P> <P>Then on a Win2000 box, ran TivoApp, if the capture is less than about 20mins (18mins first test)the extraction seems to work, Power DVD 4 (created an MPG straight off). </P> <P>If I try to extract a stream that is 30mins+, what ever I do it will not make a valid file, I have tried ExtractStream, SendStream, using TivoApp and TyConvert, creating an MPG or .mpv and mpa files, but nothing seems to work, normally end up crashing MPlayer or PowerDvd after about 1 second of play back or TMPGenc telling me that it can not multiplex the files due to mpa not being a valid file.</P> <P>Has anybody go any ideas what I have done wrong and or missed?<BR><BR>As I side note, has anybody got any ideas why tivoftpd will not run, no message no nothing, as soon as I start it, it exits, and is not running. </P> <P>Cheers Zed</P> <DIV></DIV> <DIV></DIV></div><br clear=all><hr>Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: <a href='http://g.msn.com/1HM105301/42'>Click Here</a><br></html>
