<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV> <P>I am prob being very thick, but hey what is new :-) I have been having problems with TivoApp(2.2)</P> <P>When I use TivoApp I download the .ty file from the Tivo to my Win2000 box, no errors, (30 mins long)</P> <P>I then converted using the convert tool that is in TivoApp to go straight to MPG file, the first 5 mins of the file being converted worked a treat, very fast, then I got a "Jumping to Time code **** from ****" and lots of them, right till the end of the file. Loaded the resulting MPG in to Power DVD 4 and hit play, the first five mins played like a dream, nice quality (Bar the green line) and good sync. Then after 5mins Power Dvd crashed, the same time in the file that the time codes jumps appeared. </P> <P>This makes me think that it is the extraction process that went wrong rather the convert process. I decided to have a go with mfs_export/mfs_streams after finding the CVS version on the internet, I downloaded it and had a look at the MAKEFILE for the .c files.</P> <P>I can not work out where I am meant to compile this, the complier has the path /usr/...../gcc in the makefile, this is not on the tivo, am I meant to compile it on a linux/windows machine? and ftp is across? or put a copy of gcc on the tivo</P> <P>Any help with either Jumping time codes or how to compile the mfs_export? or finding a compiled version</P> <P>Cheers</P> <P>Paul</P></DIV></div><br clear=all><hr>Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. <a href='http://g.msn.com/1HM305301/46'>Click Here</a><br></html>
