Atleast Unixes handle things like this consistently and easily... You know
that under doze occassionally you can't use an LFN? Or it gets the wrong
idea if you use an LFN. On top of that it doesn't always parse things like
somdir\.\somesubdir ... Double backslashes will trip it up sometimes too.
