Well, not exactly :-)  I switched to using spamassassin for a week or so, and 
it was working fine (using the unofficial .debs). However, when I had to 
install mailman to run a mailing list, there was almost *no* docs on 
integrating exim4 with mailman 2.1, and I'm neither an exim nor mailmain 
expert, to be able to figure it out on my own.  As having a functioning 
listserver was more important, off went exim4 and on went exim3 :-P

Just wanted to point out one good reason to want sa-exim to work with exim3...
