I use exim 4.5, spamassassin 3.0.3, sa-exim 4.2, fetchmail 5.9.11 on a Debian sarge (stable branch) box and I think even the mails in the sa-exim ml archive were not very promissing related to sa-exim with fetchmail, I did set it up as it should... finally :) Now there are some bounced mails /var/spool/sa-exim/SApermreject/ (looks like an imap folder), how do I resend them aka "pipe them to exim again"? Is that possible? They were saved there, because I did misunderstand a sa-exim setting (my setup should never reject...). And another question: I am / was fairly uncertain about my config and if it is / would be possible with sa-exim, so here is my sa-exim.conf. As I know sa-exim is not designed to be run with fetchmail (localhost and mail-bounces issues) and I am a bit confused after reading the documentation, I ask you folks if this config makes sense related to what I want to do with it (fetchmail sends them to exim locally, sa should just mark the subject of spam mails). Spamassassin is configured correct (it works as it should). ## Beginning of file /etc/exim4/sa-exim.conf ## SAEximDebug: 1 SAspamcpath: /usr/bin/spamc SAspamcHost: 127.0.0.1 SAspamcPort: 783 SAEximRunCond: 1 SAEximRejCond: ${if !eq {$h_X-SA-Do-Not-Rej:}{Yes} {1}{0}} SAmaxbody: 256000 SATruncBodyCond: 0 SARewriteBody: 0 SAPrependArchiveWithFrom: 1 SAmaxarchivebody: 20971520 SAerrmaxarchivebody: 1073741824 SAmaxrcptlistlength: 0 SAaddSAEheaderBeforeSA: 1 SAtimeoutsave: /var/spool/sa-exim/SAtimeoutsave SAtimeoutSavCond: 1 SAerrorsave: /var/spool/sa-exim/SAerrorsave SAerrorSavCond: 1 SAtemprejectonerror: 0 SAteergrubetime: 900 SAteergrubeSavCond: 1 SAteergrubesave: /var/spool/sa-exim/SAteergrube SAteergrubeoverwrite: 1 SAdevnullSavCond: 1 SAdevnullsave: /var/spool/sa-exim/SAdevnull SApermrejectSavCond: 1 SApermrejectsave: /var/spool/sa-exim/SApermreject SAtemprejectSavCond: 1 SAtemprejectsave: /var/spool/sa-exim/SAtempreject SAtemprejectoverwrite: 1 SAgreylistiswhitestr: GREYLIST_ISWHITE SAgreylistraisetempreject: 3.0 SAspamacceptsave: /var/spool/sa-exim/SAspamaccept SAspamacceptSavCond: 0 SAnotspamsave: /var/spool/sa-exim/SAnotspam SAnotspamSavCond: 0 SAmsgteergrubewait: Wait for more output SAmsgteergruberej: Please try again later SAmsgpermrej: Rejected SAmsgtemprej: Please try again later SAmsgerror: Temporary local error while processing message, please contact postmaster. ## End of file /etc/exim4/sa-exim.conf ##
