So, to be honest, I should update my page to say that sa-exim has indeed been unmaintained by me since 2006 and that it's only still working in debian thanks to the efforts of Magnus (thanks again Magnus). I don't know if it works in any other non debian derived distribution, maybe some took the debian patches. In case you wonder, I first started having less time to work on this due to work and other hobbies, and also sa-exim became less relevant due to Exiscan that did similar things, although not as well, but close enough for most. As a result, most people use exiscan and stopped caring about sa-exim. Ironically, I still use sa-exim myself because it is better at what it does than exiscan, and use Magnus' version in debian which has a few patches to make it work with newer exims. Back to your question on the patch, getting it in debian is likely the best way since my sa-exim source from 2006 doesn't work as is anymore anyway as far as I know. Magnus, if you'd like me to list you as official maintainer on my page and state that debian is the canonical source now, I'd be happy to. Or, if anyone would like to take it over and host it on his/her own page, I'm happy to point to your page too and give you the mailing list. Either way, I'm happy to make things right to make things more clear for whatever limited future sa-exim might still have :) Marc -- "A mouse is a device used to point at the xterm you want to type in" - A.S.R.
