**For Eastbound Traffic: Chains are required on all vehicles except 4-wheel-drive vehicles with snow tires on all 4 wheels from Baxter (Placer Co) to the Nevada State Line
**For Westbound Traffic: Chains are required on all vehicles except 4-wheel-drive vehicles with snow tires on all 4 wheels from the Nevada State Line to 2.1 mi east of Baxter (Placer Co)
Westbound trucks are being screened 5 mi west of Reno /at Mogul/ (Washoe Co) - Drivers must have maximum chains in their possession in order to proceed - Permit loads are prohibited
All westbound trucks are required to stop at the brake check area 0.5 mi west of Nyack (Placer Co)
Is reopened to eastbound traffic at Baxter (Placer Co) at 2130 hrs on 2/2/24
[BUSINESS 80 - CAPITAL CITY FREEWAY] No traffic restrictions are reported for this area.
