Eastbound trucks are being screened at Applegate (Placer Co) - Drivers must have maximum chains in their possession in order to proceed - Permit loads are prohibited
**For Westbound Traffic: Is closed westbound to all tractor-semitrailer combinations at the Nevada State Line - Due to hazardous road conditions - All tractor-semitrailer combinations are advised to use an alternate route

Westbound traffic is redued to 1 lane 1.5 mi west of the Donner Lake Interchange (Nevada Co) - Due to a big rig fire
All westbound trucks are required to stop at the brake check area 0.5 mi west of Nyack (Placer Co) - To reduced the risk of brake fires
