Hmm.  230 * 0.09 (from your example) = 20.7 megs = less than 1 more CD on my Empeg.  I'd have to start making some more serious quality cuts if I wanted any real space to free up.  I can't see encoding any of my albums in 112k or a low quality VBR setting, so it looks like I'm just going to have to cut some tunes/albums out entirely and wait until drives go down in price to add a second one.  I can't believe I've filled 18GB already!
