Well, then you have the people who'd rather just take the whole car than try and spend time getting the stereo out.  :-) In most cases it's actually faster to take the whole car, in which case, your empeg would be gone anyway.
Overall, I would much rather spend the extra time to take the empeg out of the car, it's worth it.
