I have the following settings that you don't have:

-pendin

You have these set that I have unset:
clocal
hupcl
ignbrk

You have these unset that I have set:
echoctl
echoe
echok
echoke
imaxbel
_onlcr_ (It looks like this may be it.)

Again, I'll come back to what this means. 

Thanks for pointing out stty to me.  I don't know why it didn't occur to me before.
