I would also like to know what the name of the windows app. Is it a
replacement for extractstream? Or is it a front end for it?

So far, I have added a second hard drive to my Tivo, added a TivoNet and
setup TivoWeb. The one thing I haven't done is mess with extractstream.
I have read the instructions on the 9th tee web page, but the files
those instructions reference don't exist on the server referenced. I
would really like to be able pull the video off my Tivo and store it in
some MPEG format (maybe DiVx) on CD. I would be very interested in
finding a windows application that would do it for me, but if extract
stream is the only way to go, I don't have a problem with that if
somebody can point in the right direction to find up-to-date
instructions. I do have a Linux PC that I can use and I am somewhat
knowledgeable in Linux.

Thanks again,
Daniel
