[ExtractStream] RCA inputs on tivo

As far as the macrovision is concerned, I'm not too
worried about that. My dvd player has a setting to turn
macrovision off. I tried hooking up a video source to the tivo
but did not understand what I needed to do in the config menu to
get an "aux1" or something where I could see the input from those
jacks. Anyone want to offer help?

Internal configuration?

You need to supply the tivo with some sort of video feed. It shouldn't
care where it's coming from.

This should work provided that there's no Macrovision encoding on the
tape. If there is Macrovision signal scrambling, all bets are off. It
might work, but I've never tried it, and I would tend to think that it
wouldn't. (Unless you have the hardware to repair the Macrovision signal
damage, that is.)
