What are you using to multiplex them? TMPGenc allows you to either 
crop the green bar away or mask it with black, but this is only part 
of the re-encoding process. If you really are *just* multiplexing 
quickly with no re-encoding, I am not sure of what to use. 

Dopester in the deal database forum has a method for converting to 
SVCD that might be able to accomplish this, though. I do not have a 
linux box so I couldnt try it. THe link is here:

See his non-wrapped posts about half way down that page. You can try 
this way and see if it works. It has options for sizes but I am not 
sure if they only resize or crop. SOrry I couldn't be more helpful.
