Thats not quite true. My tivo (infrequently) gets it wrong and the 
sync is noticably off. Going back to now playing and re-selecting the 
show usually resets it (although sometimes it happens with live tv).

Can't play around with mine because it upgraded to 2.5.1 and I 
haven't had a chance to re-enable tivonet again yet :(
