I was using sendstream with two drives (20G + 30G) up until jdiner
introduced me to mfs_streams a week ago and I had no problems. Come
to think of it, I didn't have any problems with ExtractStream either
(audio sync was another issue...). Now I was doing my extractions to
an NFS mounted partition rather than using NetCat or TivoApp. Maybe
that made the difference for me, dunno.

Just thought I'd throw that in.
