Seems like others should see this problem then.
Anyway, here's the latest. I checked the temperature as
Merch suggested. It's staying at about 35-36 the whole time.
I got further tonight extracting tystreams. I got 4 complete
streams extracted before the system froze on the 5th stream.
The record light was NOT on the whole time.
Unless anybody has a better idea my next experiment will
be to kill off EventSwitcher and MfsDaemon before doing
extraction. This should eliminate any conflicting disk
io and most other CPU activity. I can reboot when done.
