This program allows you to play a video stream on your TiVo, to edit out
unwanted sections (e.g ads), and to export the stream to an external storage
area. From there, you can use Playitsam to play the stream back again.

The program was inspired by an executable-only program called Playback
which was released by `the Doctor' in the Dealdatabase TiVo Hacks Forum.
I wanted an open-source version, so I wrote Playitsam.

Features of Playitsam:

- Streams can be played from the TiVo MFS (native) area, from
standard input, from a Unix file on the TiVo, or from a remote
`tystream' server.

- The stream can be edited from the TiVo console (via serial or telnet
connection), or using the TiVo remote.

- The edited stream can be saved to standard output, to a Unix file, or
to a remote `tystream' server.

- There is on-screen (i.e on TV) user feedback of the editing process.

- Playitsam runs on the TiVo, and also can be compiled for non-TiVo
systems, e.g Linux.

It's first release, beta test, sure to have bugs. Please give me feedback!

Cheers all,
Warren
