Thanks for supporting open source Warren.

I have been wanting to try The Doctor's utility for a while, but I 
haven't yet had the opportunity.

A hardware hack that I've been mulling over (but never followed thru 
on) could be benefit from your hack. I've been wanting to attach a 
removeable media drive to the TiVo in lieu of a second hard drive.

I wanted the ability to play back CD-R's containing extracted 
streams, without the need for a server. You would still need a PC to 
help with the extraction and burning of the CD-R, but once on this 
media, it should be playable without having to use a PC.

Your playback utility could be used for playing the CD, I'm assuming 
that the modified trick-play still works.

Any thoughts?
