Are you using any features of VirtualDub? If not (as in, it's just
extra steps) you can transcode MPEG2 to MPEG2 directly in TMPGEnc;
see my page at: http://tivo.30below.com/zmerch shows how I do it...
And yes, I use the batch encoding as well...have more to do tonite...
