Consistent TyTool Alpha #4 stdout write failures

First off, kudos to jdiner for this fine and excellent tool. I have 
been using TyTool #2 with a dTivo Philips 6000 ever since it came 
out without problems. Though version #4 consistently gives me stdout 
write failures. Let me know if more info is needed or if I can help 
tracking this problem down.
