Audio Synchronisation - Does Anyone have the Answers ?

Yes I was being really, really stupid !

Using BeSweet I was forcing the input source sampling rate to
48000Kbps rather than the output sample rate.

Click the "Use MPA Decoder"
Click the "Downconvert Sample Rate"
Select "MP2" from the LAME box
Immediately to the right of that click the SSRC box (next to LAME 3)
This will take you to a new menu
Click "Set Sampling Rate of Output file to" 48000
All the other featers there are just candy to improve the quality.

Assuming you've set up the files for Input and Output, then just
click the MP2 button and it shoud work.

If not using BeSweet then I still think that you may be forcing the
software to ignore the sample rate of the source and forcing it to
48000, which will speed up the sound and give you the gibberish !

Hope this helps.
