Yeah. Telnet into the tivo and try running it by hand. I.e. 

./NowShowing.tcl

and see what comes out. It should run and give you a wierd looking 
list. Something like:

<Title>:<And then there were none>:<EpisodeTitle>:<10 little 
indians>:... and so one. Repeated 1 long wrapping line per show in 
the now showing list.

But it looks like you forgot to fix the permissions.

chmod 777 NowShowing.tcl

But maybe you just did not put it in your emial.
