cd exim-4.20
patch -p1 < ../duncanthrax.net/exiscan/exiscan-4.20-26.patch
patch -p1 < ../SA-EXIM/sa-exim-3.0/localscan_dlopen.patch

make
make install

cd ../SA-EXIM/sa-exim-3.0/
vi Makefile to change the EXIM_SRC

gmake

mkdir -p /usr/lib/exim4/local_scan
cp *.so /usr/lib/exim4/local_scan/


Now when I add the magic line to the global section of exim configure file
I get the error

main option "local_scan_path" unknown


I thought I was following the INSTALL closely ;-)
