Well, then you'll be in for a big suprise! :) TivoNet gives true ethernet
to your
tivo. Since your tivo is a linux based operating system, there is a lot of
stuff
you can do with it. I have several applications running on it that I wrote,
as well
as the tivoweb server (think about doing 50%+ of what you do with the
Tivo UI via a web browser), including full remote control. There is a large
list
of growing apps for the tivo.

Just the other day I was at a friends house and forgot to record a show that
was
about to air. I went to my Tivo's web server scheduled it, and didn't miss
one
minute of it. Now thats "TV my way!".
