Rob, Thanks very much for the in-depth reponse. I may make the leap and try the 8500DV. Tivo would be great if it had two features: 1. 100mbs Ethernet 2. Save to PC function (via ethernet) I've got 10mbs ethernet working, but it takes too much time and effort to use it. Looking for better solutions....
