I think this is the route I will take since I am absolutely baffled 
by all the references to hubs, switches and routers etc. Plus I'm 
pretty sure my ISP dont like you using additional home networking 
kit. Besides, I don't see myself ever needing more than 1 PC at home 
so there's no point in complicating things.
