[ExtractStream] Cannot get Tivoapp working ( not newbie :-)

This worked for me
Add "bash-2.02#" to the shell prompt
AND
echo "Done" 
to statup script 
all else is in my profile with out the startup script I had the same
problem

heres me .profile

export PATH=$PATH:/var/hack/bin
export HOME=/var/hack
export TERMCAP=/var/hack/.termcap
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/var/hack/lib
cd $HOME
