Gary:

I was able to play it with the Elecard MPEG player (which doesn't
play sound, so maybe I'll try PowerDVD - unless you can suggest a
good DVD codec for Media Player?).

I don't have DVD burner - just a CD-R burner, so I was going to
create a VCD (I've played them on my Marantz DVD player before).

Is the sound in the MPEG generated by your proggie good enough to
just fire up Nero and go directly to SVCD?

I've played with some other programs (TyTool, etc.) and have been
able to extract the separate video and audio streams, but joining
them then converting to MPEG and tweaking... and... and.... it's
almost too much bother for the time being. I like apps like yours
that simply things. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before
someone writes something that allows me to go straight from the app
to a format that's ready for VCD :)

Thanks,

Steve
