OK, I've been here... what is your output media. My goal is to get
through this in as little time as possible. Specifically this has
made me chose that reducing encoding time is more important than
saving space.
The way I want to solve the commercial problem is to set
chapter points and not actually remove them.
Unfortunately I'm not there yet because I'm still authoring
to XSVCD w/ Nero. Nero is the only tool I can find to author
an XSVCD but it doesn't support chapter points :-(
Also with XSVCD I still have to split the file to 3 CD's and
I do this at the commercials, but I still have this same
2 second problem.
Once I get to a DVD writer I plan on solving this with
chapter points.
